Future Technologies Club

Build your robot. Then teach it what to do.

Robotics takes centre stage: build it, program it, and keep upgrading it with parts you 3D-print yourself. Open to all kids from Zug and the surrounding area, right here in Steinhausen. Love technology and keen to learn something new? Join now!

What we do

From your first robot to your own invention.

We start with ready-made kits, develop our own ideas, and extend them with 3D design and printing — until the project is built entirely from scratch.

LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 robot on a FIRST LEGO League playing field 01

LEGO® robotics

We build and program robots with LEGO MINDSTORMS® and SPIKE™, tackle missions like at the FIRST® LEGO® League, and learn the basics of sensors, motors and code along the way.

Students building their own electronics project together 02

Build your own projects

With motors, servos, electronics and 3D-printed parts, original inventions come to life — from electric catapults to mini gripper arms. Every team develops its own project.

Student designing a 3D model on a laptop 03

Extend with 3D design

What the kit doesn't include, we design ourselves: enclosures, mounts or entire parts come together in Tinkercad® and Fusion 360®, then go straight from the 3D printer into the project.

Frequently asked questions.

What does the membership cost and what's included?
The membership fee per year is CHF 450. That covers all lessons, materials and components plus planning and communication. No hidden costs.
My child has never coded before — can they still join?
Yes, absolutely. The membership is open to everyone, from the first step to the competition stage. We start where your child is.
How is the level decided?
We place your child in the right level during the first session. No test needed. During the first two sessions the level can be changed at any time.
What happens if fewer than 6 kids sign up?
If there are fewer than 6 registrations, the course is cancelled. In that case there are no costs for you, and we'll let you know in good time before the start.
What if my child misses a session?
No problem. We've planned in a reserve session (Dec 21, 2026) as a buffer for illness, weather or school events.
Do we need our own devices or materials?
No. We provide robotics sets, laptops, 3D printers and consumables on-site. Your child just needs to bring themselves and their curiosity.
Can siblings join together?
Yes, we'd love that. Siblings are very welcome — just let us know on the registration form and we'll follow up with the details.
How can we get there by public transport / car?
Bus stops Zug Ammannsmatt or Steinhausen Sumpfstrasse, train station Zug Chollermülli. Parking for parents right in front of the building.
