Pursuant to Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data protection legislation (Federal Act on Data Protection, FADP), every person has the right to protection of their privacy and protection against misuse of their personal data.
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
Together with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect our databases as well as possible against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Our website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA); this may involve transferring data to the USA. When you visit our website, the web server automatically creates so-called server log files. These contain information such as:
This data cannot be assigned to specific individuals. We do not merge this data with other data sources. The data is evaluated solely to ensure trouble-free operation of the website and to improve our services.
This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies and comparable technologies that are required for the technical operation of the website (e. g. to store your cookie consent).
You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies, allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, exclude cookies for specific cases or in general, and enable the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed.
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of how the website is used. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 31(1) FADP), given via the cookie banner.
Google Analytics is only activated after you have consented to the use of cookies. The information collected (e. g. pages visited, time spent on site, device and browser used, approximate location) is generally transferred to a Google server and stored there. We use IP anonymisation, so that your IP address is shortened by Google within the EU/EEA.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the cookies in your browser. Further information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google's privacy policy.
To protect our forms from spam and automated submissions, we use a so-called “honeypot” method. Each form contains an additional field that is invisible to humans. If this field is filled in — which in practice only happens with automated programs (bots) — the submission is discarded. This method works without cookies and does not share any personal data with third parties.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our website from abusive automated access (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or Art. 31 FADP).
When you use one of our forms (e. g. registration, membership, support), we process the data you enter (name, email address, age, message, and further details) for the purpose of handling your enquiry.
Form submissions are processed via the “Netlify Forms” service of our hosting provider Netlify (see section 3), stored in our Netlify account, and additionally forwarded to us by email. This may involve transferring data to the USA. Netlify processes this data as a data processor on our behalf; the transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or Art. 31 FADP). The data is deleted as soon as the communication has been completed and no statutory retention obligations preclude deletion.
Registrations for our camps and the Future Technologies Club are only made by the legal guardian of the child concerned. By ticking the corresponding box, you confirm that you are the legal guardian of the registered child, consent to the processing of the data provided — including your child's data — for the purpose of registration and further communication, and accept this privacy policy.
The legal basis for processing the data of minors is the consent of the legal guardian (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 31(1) FADP; for children under 16 residing in the EEA, additionally Art. 8 GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future by contacting us at info@tech-academy.ch.
You have the right to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to have this data corrected or deleted.
For related requests or further questions about data protection, please contact: info@tech-academy.ch
For security reasons, this website uses SSL encryption (HTTPS). You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes in our services. The new privacy policy will then apply on your next visit.
